What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Are you a fan of pecan pie? What about mashed potatoes or fillings?

Depending on your choice, you may not be alone in your state or across the country. Google and USA Today shared a list of the only casseroles for Thanksgiving 2021 that have been searched by state.

The map shows that the proportion of dishes in a certain state is too high compared to the entire country. It includes searches from November 11 to November 16, as Americans travel from coast to coast to prepare for Thanksgiving meals.

"Thanksgiving Day is a national dietary tradition holiday, so there is a great consistency in search interest for Thanksgiving dishes. However, this year's search interest in casseroles reveals the regional trend of our Thanksgiving tastes, as well as some surprises," Google Data Strategies Lori Gass said in a statement to USA Today.

Ohioans are not too adventurous when it comes to Thanksgiving: the roasted corn casserole dominates. Considering that corn is one of Ohio’s main crops, this is not surprising.

In nearby Kentucky, it's all broccoli casseroles.

Although mung bean casserole dominates the western states, sweet potato and pumpkin casserole are popular from North Dakota to Florida. Corn casserole is a unique search product in Iowa, while North Carolina chose pineapple, a baked good that usually uses pineapple, cheese and Ritz biscuits.
